Happy Tuesday! Remember a couple of weeks ago when I talked about my February Faves and the wrist wraps I was lovin? I am pretty petite and have little dinky wrists, plus I sit at a computer all day which doesn’t really encourage very good wrist mobility. Luckily I was given a pair of wrist wraps for Christmas and since I started using them I have noticed a huge, huge difference in my overhead lifts like snatch and OH squat, as well as in things like handstand push-ups.
When my mom started CrossFit, I wanted to get her some wraps as well, but couldn’t find any that weren’t super boring or really manly. I mean, I am just not really looking to rock a pair of camo wrist wraps. That’s when I found Beastette Apparel, and their collection of feminine but not-ultra-girly wrist wraps! Love at first sight, I tell ya.
After starting CrossFit, the founder, Val, found that she was having some trouble with her wrists thanks to years of computer use, but was bored with the selection of manly wrist wraps out there. So she started sewing her own wrist wraps in colorful, funky patterns and now also makes t-shirts and sweatshirts.
And today she is graciously offering a free pair of any wrist wrap you choose to one lucky reader!
Just head on over to Beastette Apparel and leave a comment below with your favorite wrist wrap design. You can also gain extra entries for liking Beastette Apparel on Facebook, following them on Twitter, and following me on Twitter!
Entries will be accepted from Tuesday, March 5 to Monday, March 11. Good luck!
